In this edition of Watch and Learn, Krames shows us how to get a Chopped and Screwed effect using Serato. Started in Houston by DJ Screw, the technique is characterized by slowing down vinyl records, capturing a specific groove and chasing doubles of the same record. This is NOT a tutorial on doing it like the man himself, but a way to achieve something like DJ Screw’s invention using Serato DJ.
We offer more in-depth information on this technique and techniques like this in our M 202 classes. Please Contact us for more information or learn how to get a free DJ lesson here.
